Reasons to Fall in Love with Autumn on the Costa del Sol
Calm has returned to the area after a long busy summer. The heat of the summer is over, and the temperatures are pleasant. The beaches and beach clubs are no longer crowded. Prices are lower than in summer. It is easier to park. It is the perfect time to bike, hike and visit attractions in the surrounding areas.
Drive and enjoy discovering white villages
Not far from Quartiers Apartments, you will find many typical Andalusian white villages worth visiting: Casares, Monda, Ronda, Setenil de las Bodegas, etc.
Visit Gibraltar and Morocco
Gibraltar is a fun day excursion while staying on the Costa del Sol. It is also easy to make a day trip to exotic Tangier in Morocco. You will just have to take a ferry from Algeciras or Tarifa to get there.
Enjoy the annual Spanish fair in San Pedro Alcántara
The Feria de San Pedro Alcántara is held during the week of 19th October. There are festivities in the streets of the town, as well as a night fair with all the attractions at the fairgrounds. Many locals dress in flamenco attire, dancing and singing Andalusian folklore.
